Coast Artillery and Anti-Aircraft Artillery manuals

On this page you can find my Field Manuals, FM's, and Technical Manuals, TM's. The US War Department used a strict code system for their instruction books and manuals. They where identified by a prefix number according to the arm of service they were published for, the second number was a series number from 1 to 199 for FM's and from 200 for TM's.

Field Manuals (FM 4 series) focus on tactical deployment, gun operation, and personnel training. Technical Manuals (TM 9 series) contain detailed technical specifications, maintenance instructions, and the mechanical operation of the equipment.
