Original Unit History: 'The Historical Record of the 136th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Gun Battalion (Mobile)'. Commanded by Lt. Colonel Wallace R. Langston. The book is printed in Belgium by De Vos-Van Kleef, Antwerp in 1945.
This copy once belonged to Pfc. Edward K. Norton (#36681053) who was with D Battery, 136th AAA Gn Bn, as a crew member of Gun #4.

The Names & The Research
Identification of the list of names in our copy of the Unit History. Pfc. Edward K. Norton was the original owner of the book and was a member of D Battery, 136th AAA Gn Bn. All other soldiers who wrote their names down were members of this unit. One day, they decided to write their names in this Unit History Book. A souvenir that now contains 25 names, including 13 names of the entire crew of ‘Gun No. 4’, plus the owner of the book, and 12 names from other sections of D Battery.
