He lived in Lake City, Missaukee County, Michigan until he entered the service as a draftee on March 6, 1943 at Kalamazoo, Michigan. His marital status on that time was "married".

He joined his unit, D Company of the 331st Infantry Regiment on July 15, 1944 through the 48th Replacemnt Battalion as mentioned in the Morning Report of July 16, 1944. The Morning Report of August 16, 1944 mentions his promotion from Tech 5 to Tech 4 as of August 8, 1944.

Mr. Allen Older died at age 65, in August, 1982. His last residence was at Lake City, Moorestown, Missaukee County, Michigan.
