Robert A. Costello (#32853693) was born on May 21, 1915 in Gloversville, Fulton County, New York. He attended Gloversville school and had a grammar school education. His civilian occupation was "Unskilled occupations in manufacture of leather products other than boots and shoes".
He lived in Gloversville, Fulton County, NY until he entered the service as a draftee on March 20, 1943 at Utica New York.
After the war, Robert employed as a leather worker with Wood and Hyde Leather Co. He was a member and head user at St Mary's church and was a member of the Concordia Singing Society. As World War Two veteran he was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Robert Costello died at age 59, in June 1974 after two weeks at the Littauer Hospital. At the time of his dead he was survived by his wife Evelyn (Schrieber) Costello (1917 - 1988), his brother Emmett J. Costello of Johnstown and his sister Catherine (Costello) Sleezer of Gloversville.
Robert and Evelyn Costello are burried at the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville, Foulton County, NY.
