Virgil Lee Bradshaw was born on February 2, 1915 in Kentucky, named to his single mother Grace Bradshaw (1897-1983). He had a 4 years of high school education and his civilian occupation was "Semiskilled chauffeurs and drivers, bus, taxi, truck and tractor"

He lived in Lake City (Coal Creek before 1936), Anderson County, Tennessee, when he entered the service (#14077875) on January 6, 1942 at Fort Oglethorpe Georgia, Anderson County, Tennessee. His marital status at that time was "Divorced".

Virgil L. Bradshaw Sr. died at age 63, on July 5, 1978 and is burried at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger, Kenton County, Kentucky. At that time, he was, as far as I know, suvived by two siblings, Jeffrey W. Bradshaw (1950-1981) and Virgil L. Bradshaw Jr. (1955-1991)
