Robert B. Miller was born on July 4, 1922, in West Virginia. He lifed in Trumbull County, Ohio, when he enlisted (#35585881) on October 14, 1942 in Akron, Ohio. At that time he had a 4 years of high school education, his  civil occupation was listed as "Semiskilled occupations in production of industrial chemicals " and he was married. After the war he joined the army again and completed officer training to become a 2nd Lieutenant.
