André Jamar is a US citizen, born in Belgium and living in Verviers, Belgium. André served with the US Army as 2nd Lieutenant with the 77th Evacuation Hospital. André functioned as an interpreter because he could speak three languages English, German and French. I met him at the Memorial Day Ceremony, May 26, 2012 at the American Military Cemetery of Henri Chapelle.
