In September 1943, Chet Graham was assigned as the Commanding Officer of Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, and remained in that possition until August 1944 when he became the Regimental Liaison Officer between the 508th and the 82nd Division Headquarters.
