Captain Clarence Seimon - 323rd Field Artillery Regiment
This is a nice small grouping of items that belonged to Captain Clarence Seimon, a World War One veteran of the 323rd Field Artillery Regiment, part of the 83rd Division. It includes includes Captain Clarence Seimon's original World War One dog-tag, an officers Collar insignia to the 323rd Field Artillery and an additional US collar insignia.

Clarence Seimon was born on September 21, 1895, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Mary Stoughton and William C. Seimon.
After joining the military he received his commission as a Captain on August 15, 1917. Cpt. Seimon served with the 323rd Field Artillery for the duration of his time with the military. He went overseas with the 323rd as a part of the AEF on June 10, 1918 and returned after almost a year of service in Europe on May 13, 1919. Captain Seimon was honorably discharged on May 12, 1919.
Clarence Seimon (Seaman) married Frances Anderson on June 6, 1923. He died on November 30, 1977, he was preseaded in dead by his wife Frances Seaman (1897-1975).
