Sgt. Danial M. Smith - L Company, 330th Infantry Regiment

Small WWI grouping, identified to a Sergeant of the 330th Infantry Regiment of the 83rd Infantry Division. Included in the grouping is a New Testament, his sergeant stripes, an honorable discharge chevron, a small silk made American flag shown the test of time, and a case to holding everything. The plastic of the case has yellowed and is a little stiff but everything is still in fairly good shape for being over 100 years old.

The New Testament is named to Danial M. Smith, Chillicothe, Ohio. He did his service with Company L of the 330th Infantry Regiment, 83rd Infantry Division, and trained at Camp Sherman in Chillicothe, Ohio (Camp for the troops from Ohio and West Virginia).
