Envelope identified to Howard E. Beaumont - Headquarters 308th Medical Battalion
Original post WWII Army Cover dated January 23, 1946. The envelop was sent by H. Beaumont, #O-546652, to his wife Mrs. Margaret Beaumont, 1231 Stratford Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut. The address the envelope was sent from was APO #83 which was in Linz, Austria on this date.

Howard Eugene Beaumont Jr. was born on January 25, 1905 in Madison, Connecticut. He was maried with Margaret Smith, they had two daughters, Betty 'Beaumont' Gonyea (1936-2017) and Mary Ellen Beaumont.
Howard Beaumont died on June 17, 1978, in Cromwell, Connecticut, at the Middlesex Memorial Hospital. He was survived by his wife Margaret S. Beaumont (1907-1987). They were burried at the Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill,Connecticut.
