Original censored WWII Army envelope dated August 24, 1944. The envelop was sent by Sgt. Stanley Bronner to Miss Ruth Miller of Bronx, New York. The address the envelope was sent from was APO #83. Which according to 'Geographic Locations of U.S. APO's 1941-1978' by James Shaffer, was in Dinan, Brittany, France on this date.

Sergeant Stanley Bronner

Stanley Bronner was born in 1914, in Pforzheim, Germany as Sigfried Tiefenbronner. As a German/Hebrew he leave Europe from the Netherlands and arrived in the United States, togheter with his father Julius Tiefenbronner on December 15, 1938.

He entered the service as a draftee (#34152185) October 8, 1941 at Jacksonville Army Air Field, Florida.

Stanley Bronner died on August 22, 1982. His last residence was at the U.S. Consulate, Canada.
