A three page frontline letter written in Luxemnourg on November 18, 1944. At times Hamby became quite discouraged, he wrote: ... 'I am just fine, thank the good Lord. It is just another old blue Saterday night, and me wishing I was with you. I know I love you, darling, more than anything in this world. I want to see and be with you so bad I can't hardly stand it. But honey I don't believe it will be long. I don't see how this can last much longer. If it does I will go plum crazy.' ...
