83rd Division hand drawn cachet on envelope

Original World War Two envelope dated 1945. The envelope was sent by S/Sgt. Kenneth G. Auge, who served with the 305th Bomb Group, 364th Bomb Squadron (8th Air Force), to his wife Mrs. Kenneth G. Auge, 114 Windsor Street, Reading, Pennsylvania. The address the envelope was sent from was APO #140 which was somewhere in Occupied Germany on this date.
The most interesting on this cover is the hand painted multicolor 83rd Division cachet, most likely done by Kenneth Auge during the down time of postwar occupation duty. This is further illustrated by the many other decorated envelopes Auge send out, all with different hand painted insignia.
