This is a small Unit History booklet of the 83rd Infantry Division nicknamed "Thunderbolt Division". The booklet was printed for all the members of the 83rd Division. The foreword is written by Major General Robert C. Macon, United States Army Commanding.

Raymond Webb was born on November 13, 1914, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Amelia (Minnie) Cuda (1894–1970) and John Thomas Webb (1891–1951). He married Nellie Jane Brednick (1917-1990) on March 27, 1937 and together they had two daughters, Donna Louise (°1939-2020) and Judith Ann (°1942). Raymond Webb joined the army on December 7, 1943 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (#33713738). After completing basic training, he was send overseas on November 15, 1944. A little over a month later (on January 4, 1945) he was assigned to E Company, 330th Infantry Regiment from the 92nd Replacement Battalion. He would continue serving with the unit through the Battle of the Bulge and the drive into Germany. For his service he was awarded, among other decorations, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, Silver Star and Bronze Star Medal.
Raymond Webb died on October 10, 1960, in Etna, Pennsylvania, aged 45.
