Private First Class Albert J. Suess

Albert Jerome Suess was born on January 22, 1926, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Moneke Eva Kunkel (1898–1973) and Joseph Suess (1887–1965).

Albert Jerome Suess enlisted in the Army on April 18, 1944, in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, he was 18 years old. The Morning Reports listed him as assigned and joined from 92nd Replacement Battalion as of January 24, 1945 to G/331 and promoted to Private First Class as of February 22, 1945. For his service in WWII he was awarded, among other decorations, the Combat Infantryman's Badge and the Good Conduct Medal.

Albert Jerome Suess married Anna Marie Yanosick on June 25, 1949, when he was 23 years old. He died on December 25, 1992, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, when he was 66 years old and was survived by his wife Anna Marie (1928–2014).
