Charles Truett William Jones was born on July 31, 1914 in Knoxville, Tennessee, to Martha Lane (1886-1970) and Charles P. Jones (1886-1962). Bernard Goldstein married Ruth Hammerman.
Charles TW Jones enlisted on November 5, 1942 in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. The Morning Report from September 23, 1944 listed Johnson Wilson W. as assigned to AT/329 from I/329. Anti-Tank Company of the 329th Regiment was in the vicinty of Orleans, central France at that time. For his service he was awarded the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the European African Middle-Eastern Campaign Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
Charles Jones was married with Alice Smith. He died on August 21, 1988 and is buried at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Greeneville, Tennessee. He was survived by his wife Alice Jones (1922-2000).
