George Lee McPherson was born February 28, 1921 in White House Station, Readington Township, New Jersey.
He joined the army on September 23, 1943 in Newark, New Jersey. He married Ann Malone in 1944. The Morning Reports from August 1, 1944 listed him as assigned and joined G/331 from the 48th Replacement Battalion. The Morning Reports from November 6, 1944 listed him as promoted from Pvt. to Pfc. For his service in WWII he was awarded, among other decorations, the Combat Infantryman's Badge.George Lee McPherson died June 8, 1988, survived by his wife Anne (1920-2001)
