Master Sergeant John H. Brouhard
John Harry Brouhard was born on October 10, 1908, in Marion, Indiana, to Rosa Lee Abrams (1886–1955) and Albert Porter Brouhard (1880–1950).
John H. Brouhard lived in Indianopolis, Marion County, Indiana when he enlisted the service (#15332591) on October 7, 1942 at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana. He served in the European Theatre of Operations (ETO) with the 83rd Infantry Division, Divisional Headquarters Company. He was the Divisional photographer and photographer for the Bounce, Spearhead and Thunderbolt, the Official Newspapers of the 83rd Division. For his service in WWII he was awarded, among other decorations, the Combat Infantry Badge.
John Harry Brouhard died on August 29, 1965 and is buried at the Brownsburg Cemetery, Indiana.
