Ralph Bailey Huffman was born on August 11, 1921, in Boyle, Kentucky, to Muriel Gentry (1890–1949) and Frederick Thomas (Fred) Huffman (1884–1956).
Ralph B. Huffman (#35686787) enlisted the service on November 10, 1942 at Loisville, Kentucky and served in the European Theatre of Operations (ETO) with the 83rd Infantry Division, Divisional Headquarters Company.
For his service in WWII he was awarded, among other decorations, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Bronze Star Medal, the Purple Heart Medal, the American Defense Service Medal, the American Campaign Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, the World War II Victory Medal, and the European African Middle-Eastern Campaign Medal with three Bronze Stars (for Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe campaigns).
After the War he married Judy A. Skinner (1924-1995). Ralph passed away on December 17, 1978, and is buried at the Bellevue Cemetery, Danville, Kentucky. He was survived by his wife Judy A. Huffman (1924-1995).
