Robert Kahn was born October 26, 1917 in New York City, NY to Morris Kahn (1890-) and Bertha Steinberger (1889-). Robert was the first of four children. His father was born in Germany and immigrated in the United States from Antwerp, Belgium in 1909. His mother Bertha was born in Austria and immigrated in 1902.
On December 14, 1942, Robert enlisted into the Army. The Morning Reports from January 17, 1945 listed him as assigned and joined G/331 from the 92nd Replacement Depot. For his service he was awarded, among other decorations, the Combat Infantryman's Badge and the Good Conduct Medal.
Robert 'Bob' Kahn died on July 24, 1992.
