Willard Woodworth Becker was born on June 10, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of Leslie W. Becker and Lona H. Woodworth.

He joined the army on December 13, 1944. The Morning Reports from February 19, 1945 list him as assigned and joined G/331 from the 18th Reinforcement Depot. For his service he was awarded, among other decorations, the Combat Infantryman's Badge.

Willard Woodworth Becker married Jean Margaret Atkinson on January 24, 1953 in Nottoway, Virginia. He passed away on September 16, 1990. He was survived by his wife Jean M. Becker (1929-1992).
