Edwin Fowler Brown was born on January 20, 1924 in Akron, Summit County , Ohio to John and Alta Blake Brown. Edwin "Ed" Brown lived in Butle, Pennsylvania when he enlisted (#33684808) the service on May 3, 1943 in Fort George G. Maede, Maryland. Before serving with the 330th Infantry Regiment, 83rd Division he was a member of several other units, including the 10th Mountain Division & the 69th Infantry Division.
