Biography and Wartime Service
Ralph Crepps 'RC' Hamilton was born on April 23, 1926 to May Belle Minner and Ralph Crepps Hamilton. He entered the service on August 7, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky. He joined D Company, 331st Infantry Regiment on January 24, 1945 on January 24, 1945 when the unit had just pulled out of the Battle of the Bulge for R&R.
RC Hamilton died on September 17, 2013 at the age of 87, at Livingston County Hospital in Salem, Kenthucky and is buried at the Mapleview Cemetery, Marion, Kentucky. At the time of his dead he was survived by his wife of 69 yaers, Louise Hamilton.
