Paul S. Suffridge was born on May 11, 1922, in Hazard, Perry County, Kentucky, to O.V. (Bill) Suffridge (1902-1954) and Anna Belle Brashear (1900-1949).
He lived in Perry County, Kentucky when he enlisted (#35666021) on October 15, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio. At that time he had a 2 years of high school education, his  civil occupation was listed as "Semiskilled Miners, and mining-machine operators" and he was married.

During World War Two, he was LWA on August 7, 1944.

Paul Suffridge died on August 22, 1989 at age 67 in Taylorsville, Spencer County, Kentucky.
