Wilson W. Johnson was born on August 21, 1909, in South Carolina. He enlisted (#34779787) on August 4, 1943 in Camp Croft, South Carolina. At that time he had a grammar school education, his  civil occupation was listed as "Weavers textile" and he was married with Annie Mae (Crawford) Johnson.
